About Us

Changing Minds Psychiatry is a psychiatric mental health clinic with multidisciplinary practices and three locations across Southern Nevada. Changing Minds Psychiatry has a variety of treatment services and programs to treat the psychiatric needs of adolescent and adult patients.

Changing Minds Psychiatry opened in 2017 as a one-woman clinic. Founded by nurse practitioner Nicole Vaughn. Mrs. Vaughn, compellingly states “Changing Minds Psychiatry is more than just a play of work, it is a dream that many nurse practitioners worked hard throughout their careers to make happen. We represent the change that nurses well before use fought for us to be” (2022).

Changing Minds Psychiatry strives to provide quality healthcare to everyone. We are community focused company. We take pride in knowing that the quality of care provided in our office by the clinicians working here surpasses that of many other practices because we take the time to get to know our patients and their families.

  • Nicole Vaughn

    CEO & FOUNDER

    I founded Changing Minds Psychiatry in 2017, driven by my unwavering commitment to transforming the landscape of mental health care. With a career spanning back to 2007, I've dedicated the majority of my professional journey to mental health nursing, armed with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Indiana State University. In 2016, I took a significant leap forward in my career, achieving a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Eastern Kentucky University.

    My deep-rooted empathy and understanding as a patient myself fuel my passion for patient-focused care. I believe in holistic, compassionate, and personalized treatment, a philosophy that guides every aspect of Changing Minds Psychiatry. As we continue to grow, my vision is to extend our services to other regions, ensuring that individuals in need have access to the exceptional care they deserve. Together, we can change minds and lives for the better.

  • Jamie Brown

    BUSINESS MANAGER & BILLING ADMIN MANAGER

    Jamie Brown is the Business Manager at Changing Minds Psychiatry. With a relentless passion for business excellence, I have dedicated over 19 years to the dynamic field of Business Management. Having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management from Ashford University in 2018, I embarked on a journey that has seen me thrive in the world of business. Over nearly two decades, I have honed my skills and cultivated a profound knowledge of business strategies, operations, and human resources management.

    As the Business Manager at Changing Minds Psychiatry, I play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our organization. I am committed to enhancing our services and creating a positive impact on mental healthcare through effective business strategies. I firmly believe that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth. My journey in Business Management has been a continuous pursuit of excellence, and I am dedicated to applying my knowledge and experience to drive positive change in every endeavor.

  • Celeste Turner

    CHIEF CLINICAL DIRECTOR

    Celeste Turner is the Chief Clinical Director and has been with Changing Minds Psychiatry for 5 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Nevada and Arizona. She is a approved Clinical Supervisor for Clinical Social Work Interns and Secondary Supervisor for Marriage and Family Therapist Interns with each Nevada board. Celeste has primarily severed those whom are vulnerable and under represented to empower growth and healing in our communities. The focus of her work this last 6 years has been on providing micro level behavioral health services through practicing psychotherapy and clinical case management.

    I am a proud alumna of the first generation programs Upward Bound and Deans Future Scholars. I have been fortunate to achieve my Bachelors degree (2016) and Master’s degree (2018) at the University of Nevada, Reno. Furthermore, continuing my position as a Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno for the School of Social Work teaching social work research courses.

    In this chapter of my career I am shifting completely to macro level social work through my role as Changing Minds Psychiatry’s Chief Clinical Director. I am dedicated to managing the clinical departments and overseeing the facilitation of therapeutic services. Maintaining equitable patient care and quality assurance. Addition to, spearheading treatment innovation and fostering community relationships.

  • Bobbi-jo Conoly

    ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

    Bobbi-Jo Conoly, Administration Manager has been serving the community with Changing Minds Psychiatry for 3 years. After high school, Bobbi-Jo continued her education in pursuit of forensic sciences while working part-time in a local Neurology clinic. Post epidemic, Mrs. Conoly joined the CMP Team as Front Office Administrator for the Buffalo 206 location, which is where she found her true passion for Business Administration. Bobbi-Jo was promoted to Office Manager while expanding her knowledge in both TMS and later, ADHD testing. She has switched majors and is now furthering her education in Business Management. Bobbi-Jo is dedicated to the expansion of patient care by providing safe, non-judgmental environments for all patients. Using CMP’s mission and core values, she continues to pass down 7 years of experience to lead the next generation of mental health care administrators. 

    Bobbi-Jo’s daily goal is also one of Changing Mind’s core values- Meeting people where they are. “Everyday is a new day to put your best foot forward. Office Supervisors

  • Alicia Muniz

    NORTH LV OFFICE SUPERVISOR

    Alicia Muniz is the Office Supervisor for our North Las Vegas location. Alicia has been a member of the company for two years. Alicia started with the company as a new receptionist breaking ground in the mental health field with has an extensive experience in customer service under her belt.  While she started off as a Front Office Administrator, she was eager to learn different roles within the company and branched to being a certified TMS technician as well as the lead Billing Administrator.

    In billing, I work to ensure that our patients can focus on their Mental Health while I navigate the stressful world of insurances, whether that be calling insurances to verify eligibility or fixing denied claims, or simply listening to a patient's frustrations with their insurance and helping find a solution. I believe my passion for learning new trades as well as helping others has contributed to my growth not only with the company but as a person. As the Office Supervisor for our North Las Vegas location, it is my goal is to instill CMP's vision of "everyone deserves to live their best life" with every person I come across hopes of changing the perception of their self-worth.

  • Susan Candelaria

    Susan Candelaria

    APRN SUPERVISOR

    Susan Candelaria is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Susan has been with the company for 3 years, practicing out of our Henderson location.

    With a passion for helping individuals with mental health issues, Susan believes that a therapeutic partnership with her patients is key in treating the “whole” patient. She specifically has a passion for depression and anxiety disorders.

  • Jennifer Yanez

    CSW-INTERN SUPERVISOR

    Jennifer Yanez, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that is board certified to provide clinical supervision for our Clinical Social Work Interns (CSW-I). Jennifer earned her Bachelor's Degree from University of Washington in 2001 and her Master's Degree from California State University, Fresno, in 2006. She has worked in various settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics, clinical case management, community-based mental health programs, and as a CSW-I supervisor.

    At CMP, Jennifer takes pride in guiding as well as learning from the CSW Interns, believing that we all have daily opportunities for personal growth and is committed to the advancement of mental health treatment in our community.

  • Nelandra Anselmo

    MFT-INTERN AND CPC-INTERN SUPERVISOR

    Nelandra Anselmo, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist that is board certified to provide primary supervision for our licensed marriage and family therapist interns and clinical professional counselor interns.

    Nelandra Anselmo is a clinician and consultant who is committed to strengthening personal and professional relationships. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice in Henderson, NV, her areas of specialty include pre-marital counseling, multicultural counseling, clinical supervision, career coaching, and trauma.

    Nelandra also currently supports client organizations in her role as a Consultant and Executive Coach. She has written and contributed to articles in popular publications on the topics of relationships and career transition, and has a passion for presenting seminars, speeches and workshops on mental health and wellness.

    Nelandra is an adjunct instructor in the Couple & Family Therapy graduate program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine and instructs at the UNLV Department of Continuing Education as well as The International School of Hospitality in Las Vegas.

  • Rasheda Anderson

    MTF-Intern and CPC-Intern Supervisor

    Rasheda L. Anderson is an accomplished Licensed Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with over 15 years of distinguished experience in behavioral health, clinical operations, and healthcare management. 

    Currently, providing mental health services through her private practice, Rasheda thrives on helping people through their most difficult times. Beyond her clinical practice, Rasheda is deeply committed to the growth and development of future mental health professionals. Since 2019, she has supervised both student interns and CPC-Interns, imparting her knowledge and fostering the next generation of counselors.

    Rasheda embodies a philosophy centered on care, concern, and compassion, which form the cornerstone of her therapeutic approach as well as her approach as a Clinical Supervisor. She believes in fostering strong therapeutic and supervisory alliances that support transformative journeys of healing and self-discovery. Rasheda's career is underscored by a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes through innovative strategies and rigorous adherence to best practices. 

    Educationally, Rasheda holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor by the Nevada State Board and has held previous licenses in Georgia.

    In her leisure time, Rasheda enjoys exploring culinary experiences, attending theatrical performances, and prioritizing quality time with her family and friends. Her personal interests align with her professional ethos of promoting holistic health—spiritual, mental, and physical—among those she serves and within her personal life.
