Susan Candelaria, PMHNP-BC

Susan Candelaria, is a board certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with a passion for helping individuals with mental health issues. She believes that a therapeutic partnership with her patients is key in treating the “whole” patient. She specifically has a passion for depression and anxiety disorders.
Susan’s professional background includes 16 years of acute care nursing experience in various areas of healthcare. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Nevada State College in 2005. She then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from The University of Nevada at Las Vegas in 2010. Most recently, in 2020, she obtained a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric – Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
Susan is originally from Illinois and when not working, enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs. She loves watching sports and being outdoors.

Sarah Riopelle, PMHNP-BC
Sarah Riopelle is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Sarah has a wealth of knowledge and experience as a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner working with inpatient and outpatient mental health patients. Sarah has recently joined the company.
Drawing from her 10+ years of professional mental health experience, Sarah works to empower patients to understand their mental health conditions and what avenues of treatment are available to them. Her areas of focus include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, panic disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Sarah treats children ages 8+, adolescents, and adults, offering both in-person services and telehealth.
Through a patient-centered, team-based approach, Sarah utilizes an array of psychotherapeutic techniques as well as psychotropic medications to allow for optimized results. She actively engages her patients to participate in medical decision-making and helps them make informed choices regarding their mental health needs. As the field of psychiatric medicine is constantly developing, Sarah continues to educate herself about cutting-edge therapeutic and treatment modalities to provide the best care possible. Christine Adol, PMHNP-BC
Christine Adol has recently joined the company. She has completed her Postgraduate Certification for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Purdue University Global in West Lafayette, Indiana, after earning her Master of Nursing from Angeles University Foundation, Philippines. Christine, born and raised in the Philippines has been a nurse in acute care hospitals since 2005, where she gained vast knowledge and expertise in taking care of patients with psychiatric and medical conditions.
Christine understands the direct link between physical and mental health. She provides goal-oriented interventions, adheres to evidence-based practice guidelines, and considers the ethnicity and culture of the client. Christine's objective is to assist individuals in acknowledging their strengths, establishing realistic goals, and maintaining optimism regarding the future. She is a 2021 Daisy Award honoree because of her compassion and care for her patients.

Josil George, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Josil has recently joined the company. Josil George has dedication to providing evidence-based care for individuals facing mental health challenges. Leveraging 5 years of experience in acute care nursing, he brings a strong foundation in patient care and a commitment to building therapeutic relationships.
Josil is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel empowered to address their mental health needs. He utilizes a blend of empathy and clinical expertise to develop personalized treatment plans that are grounded in the latest research and best practices.
Josil holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is dedicated to lifelong learning and staying on top of the latest advancements in the field of mental health.

Jennifer Vroman, PMHNP-BC
Jennifer Vroman is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has a background of nursing experience in the psychiatric field ranging from child to adult inpatient care to substance abuse treatment. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Nevada State University, and went on to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Purdue Global University.
In addition to being a PMHNP-BC she is a professor at Las Vegas College, including clinical and didactic instruction in psychiatry and medical/surgical care for the school of nursing, and she has contributed to curriculum and student development for several years.
Jennifer is committed to providing individualized treatment plans for each patient which entails a holistic and evidenced-based practice approach. Her career focus is on health promotion and prevention through patient education. She collaborates with patients to achieve quality of care for each patient’s specific goal. She believes in providing a safe and judgement-free space to build rapport with her patients.

Stephanie Meneses, PMHNP-BC
Stephanie Meneses is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) serving patients in Clark County, Nevada. She began her training at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she earned both her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN). She has worked in various healthcare systems in Nevada, California, and Oregon since 2017. Stephanie is passionate about mental health and breaking down barriers for universal access as well as eliminating stigma surrounding these debilitating disorders. She uses the nursing approach to patient care which takes into account the whole patient and all the factors that could be contributing to their health.
Stephanie is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA). She attends monthly psychiatric-related meetings and keeps herself well-informed about the latest advancements in evidence-based treatments.
Stephanie combines both non-medicinal as well as traditional medication approaches to alleviate her patient’s symptoms. Her ultimate goal is to build lasting trust with her clients and improve their quality of life. She collaborates closely with them and advocates to find the best treatment plan.
Stephanie offers both in-person and virtual appointments. She is available to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medications. Stephanie is also fluent in Spanish.

Celeste Turner, LCSW

Celeste Turner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has been with the company for five years. Prior to she has spent over 8 years providing trauma informed clinical case management for children and families and outpatient treatment services for both children and adults for over three years.
Celeste primarily works with those whom are vulnerable and underrepresented to empower growth and healing in our communities. She is dedicated to creating a sufficient and punctual environment for each client, where professional relationships can be built. Celeste actively works to create a calm, therapeutic, nonjudgmental, safe space for each client.
Celeste facilitates individual, couples/family therapy and group therapy. Celeste maintains a small number of clients. Celeste’s treatment focus are trauma and stressor related disorders, depression, anxiety, and grief and loss. Her treatment models include but are not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), person centered therapy, Trauma-informed care, Perinatal Mental Health and Solution focused therapy.

Heather Long, CSW-Intern
CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK INTERN
Heather Long is a Clinical Social Work Intern who has recently joined the company. She graduated in 2022 from Capella University with my MSW in Social Work. Prior to this she received her bachelors degree in Social Work from Sacramento State University. Heather has experience working inpatient at a psychiatric hospital, and at a residential treatment facility. Her experience also includes working with families and individuals struggling with complex trauma, couples therapy, grief, life stressors, addiction, anxiety and depression.
Heather has received training in trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety and depression. It is her desire to create a safe place for individuals to learn and grow. She utilizes a client centered approach along with CBT, DBT and trauma informed care.

Andrew Lamb, CPC-Intern
CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR INTERN
Andrew is a Clinical Professional Counselor Intern (CPC-I), practicing under the supervision of licensed CPC’s. He graduated from Capella University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023. He has experience as a Developmental Specialist working on behavioral and emotional interventions for adults with disabilities. Addition to, experience working at a men’s residential SUD treatment facility prior to joining Changing Minds. Since starting here as a student intern, and now a contracted employee, he has worked with individuals with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, life stressors, and trauma.
Andrew strives to provide clients with an environment conducive to self-exploration while providing advocacy, support, accountability, and education. He also incorporates elements of CBT, DBT, ACT, and MI into his practice. Andrew states, “I firmly believe in authenticity and transparency, while maintaining professional boundaries, is necessary for cultivating a strong and effective therapeutic relationship”.

Kayla Wolfson, CSW-Intern
CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER INTERN
Kayla Wolfson is a Clinical Social Work Intern who has recently joined the company. Prior to becoming a therapist at Changing Minds, Kayla worked as a Crisis Counselor for 988, where she provided de-escalation skills and support for individuals experiencing any sort of crisis. She received her Masters of Social Work through the University of Nevada, Reno.
Prior to 988, Kayla was a Resilience Ambassador for the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. From there, she supported families and individuals across the state of Nevada who were experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges.
Kayla's background has allowed her to work with individuals all across the human lifespan. Through her career, Kayla has supported individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, relationship difficulties, trauma, and overall life stressors.
Kayla's personal values are patience, understanding, and compassion. With her values, she strives to create a safe, non judgemental, and welcoming environment for all individuals she comes across. Whether it is a long term issue or everyday stressors, Kayla will meet her clients where they are at. Kayla believes everyone has a light, and it is her mission to help people get reconnected to the light they have to offer to themselves and the world around them. -
Spencer Moore, CSW-Intern
CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK INTERN
Spencer Moore is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Clinical Social Work Intern. Spencer obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from CSU San Bernardino and a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Simmons University. Spencer has experience providing mental health therapy to populations of persons which are being hindered from successfully living the lives they desire due to the adverse effects of difficult life stressors. Spencer helps individuals, families, and groups reach their highest capacity by using an integration of cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapy.
Spencer's approach to delivering therapy is to always have an attitude of unconditional positive regard while holding to a personal belief that all persons are capable of exceeding whatever expectations they've set for themselves, especially when they are aided by professionals that help them to uncover those nuggets of personal insight which have the power to unlock potential, foster intellectual growth, and lead to positive mental and behavioral transformations.

Adriana Feliciano, CSW-Intern
CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK INTERN
Adriana Feliciano is a Clinical Social Work Intern practicing under the supervision of a licensed Clinical Social Worker. They received their Master of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University, with a specialization in children and adolescents and a certificate in trauma informed practice.
Prior to joining Changing Minds as a therapist, Adriana worked in a recovery center for eating disorders as a program therapist. They supported patients of all ages in recovery through individual coaching and leading skill-based groups focused on ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and art. They also led groups on topics of self-compassion, boundary setting, and recovery skills. Adriana values a collaborative environment and encourages feedback throughout the therapy process.
Throughout their career, they have developed clinical experience in supporting people with marginalized identities, relational and attachment concerns, eating disorders, body image difficulties, depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress. Adriana believes in unique paths to healing and hopes to hold a safe space for your individual experience with your mental health.

Candace Haworth, RD
REGISTERED DIETITIAN
Candace Haworth is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, local to Las Vegas, Nevada for 25 years. She graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences and later decided to pursue a specialization in Eating Disorders. Candace uses her diverse background acquired from multiple settings to provide nutrition education for those in recovery from substance use disorders, treating complex medical comorbidities, and encouraging communities to participate in public health. One of her beliefs is to lead with a mental health focused approach to better support the needs of individuals who may find meeting their self care needs challenging. Candace believes that the state of our mental health is reflected in our eating habits like a mirror, and addressing mental health and nutrition hand in hand lies the greatest opportunity for change. With a passion for treating eating disorders, the unique challenges each person faces is never one and the same. This approach requires creativity to begin healing each individuals relationship with food. Clients will learn how to make peace with their body and restore trust in themselves using evidence based research to dispel diet myths, an integrative approach, and achieve autonomy in food freedom.

Juana’ King, born and raised in Indianapolis, IN is currently the Director of Quality Assurance in Indiana at The Columbus Organization. In 2013, Juana’ obtained her BS in Sociology, Martin University-IN. Juana’ is enrolled at IUPUI working towards her MSW, LCSW, Spring 2025.
She has strong passion in advocating for others. Juana’ has 17 years’ experience working with individuals diagnosed with IDD. Of those 17 years, Juana’ was a Program Director for Supervised Group Living and Adult Day Program; at the Columbus Organization as a Medicaid Wavier Case Manager for Indiana & NJ; Quality Enhancement Coordinator. She volunteered at Brooke’s Place in Indianapolis, Indiana as a grief support group facilitator before relocating to Las Vegas, NV.
Juana was recently elected to the National Association of Case Management (NACM) Board of Directors to serve a four-year term starting in January 2024. Juana’ applied to the Board aer attending and presenting at her first NACM conference in October.
NACM's mission is to provide case managers and other service coordination practitioners opportunities for advancing professional growth and the promotion of case management. Columbus is a charter member of the organization.
In her free time, Juana’ enjoys spending me with family & friends, traveling, beaches, sporting events, reading, bowling leagues, and gardening.

Oakley Scronce is a MSW practicum student. Oakley graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently in the final year of her Master of Social Work degree at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Hello! I’m Erica Johnson, a dedicated individual born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and am pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at UNLV's Greenspun College of Urban Affairs.
My passion lies in clinical social work, where I aim to empower individuals and communities through compassionate support and guidance. I believe that the most valuable assistance I can offer as a social worker is inspiration—helping my clients recognize their strengths and potential.
As I progress through my MSW program, I am committed to gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to impact the lives of those I serve positively. I am excited about the journey ahead and the opportunity to contribute to the field of social work.

Catherine Traylor

Catherine graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). During her undergraduate studies, she conducted research on family-based therapy techniques for at-risk youth athletes, focusing on optimizing performance in sports and daily life. Currently, Catherine is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a concentration in Trauma-Informed Practice.
With over two years of experience, Catherine has been dedicated to volunteering and advocating for children in foster care as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA Volunteer).
Catherine is passionate about learning to facilitate individual therapy and couples/family therapy, focusing on Trauma-Informed Care, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Perinatal Mental Health, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family-Based Therapy (FBT), and Play Therapy.
In her leisure time, Catherine enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching romantic comedies, and crime documentaries, traveling, spoiling her two cats, and attending Pilates.
