CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

Morgan Moumouris is one of our tele-therapists at Changing Minds Psychiatry. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Clinical Professional Counselor for the State of Nevada. She received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling with a additional certificate in Marriage, Family, & Couples Therapy from the University of Central Florida in 2016. Her passion is providing holistic counseling through an empathetic and non-judgmental lens to aid in improving both her clients’ well being and outcomes. Throughout the counseling process Morgan strives to instill hope, confidence, and peace of mind.

Morgan’s specializes in working with women with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, shame,  guilt, self esteem, family conflict, relational concerns, and life transitions. Treatment modalities include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Attachment Theory, Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Existentialism, and Motivational Interviewing.

LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Ages: 13+

Heather Long is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She graduated in 2022 from Capella University with my MSW in Social Work.  Prior to this she received her bachelors degree in Social Work from Sacramento State University.  Heather has experience working inpatient at a psychiatric hospital, and at a residential treatment facility. Her experience also includes working with families and individuals struggling with complex trauma, couples therapy, grief, life stressors, addiction, anxiety and depression.

Heather has received training in trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety and depression.  It is her desire to create a safe place for individuals to learn and grow.  She utilizes a client centered approach along with CBT, DBT and trauma informed care.
